Xanadu 2012: sustainable stigmergy |

A lot of cities and (smaller) communites /Towns & such have started to restructure their City plan to be/come more People friendly! and more will!...and the more we all get into such a mode, the more it will happen! :-) Haaa.... By the time you're finished with both Freibourgs you might be really "cooking"... click on the square that says Acumen Fund (in Freibourg/Switzerland site ...and then you can click on the next square that comes up and more sustainable Ideas will show!... :) 13 Dec 2009 @ 07:34 by swanny @70.65.9.110 : Stigmergy Hey ad well stigmergy is perhaps the way society has developed from the remnants of pieces in the past. ie the building onto what has gone before. heres the wiki def Stigmergy is a mechanism of spontaneous, indirect coordination between agents or actions, where the trace left in the environment by an action stimulates the performance of a subsequent action, by the same or a different agent. Stigmergy is a form of self-organization. It produces complex, apparently intelligent structures, without need for any planning, control, or even communication between the agents. As such it supports efficient collaboration between extremely simple agents, who lack any memory, intelligence or even awareness of each other. THANK YOU ,Swanny!... yes, now I know exactly what the word means! It is also refered to as "Unconsciously Competent" by some people; Anthony Robbins, for instance. I would use the word/concept of SPONTANEITY!... Spontaneaously doing the Right thing! True spontaneity is one of the higher skills/ tools we get in our God/s Gift-Package at Birth! How we pull it back to a more organic and natural course is the question I suppose. Refocus perhaps on the whole rather than the part.
