I contest we are no different, and should be in a small circle at the 12 oclock position on the mural of nature, and change the humans to a depliction of the creators glow upon the Earth and life that dwells on it. :} Anyway just my oppinion. 5 Jun 2010 @ 21:29 by susannahbe : Separation I agree that the separation of humans from nature and the earth is what causes the problems - we are just another species and part of the whole, just as much as the plants, the rocks etc. It is the separation that man perceives that allows him to commit atrocities on the rest of the planet and its species, as he somehow sees himself/herself as separate from the whole. 5 Jun 2010 @ 22:27 by bushman : Hmm, and maybe we arnt the only animal that uses fire, granted in a natural sence, for instance microbes start compost fires and hay bail fires, the Pinion Pines seeds must be roasted by fire to germanate, and what about all those sea creachers that live around volcanic fire on land such as Yellowstone or undersea in 1200 degree volcanic vents. There is always something living in all sorts kniches, even in the frozen depths of space itself. 5 Jun 2010 @ 22:52 by swanny @70.65.31.24 : Separation 2 Well when I came up with this I was thinking ? hmmmmm about what makes a human community, and it seemed modern human communities are founded on an energy source whether it is wood, coal, oil, or nuclear, it seemed to me then that that sort of defined what is the basis of a sustainable community and in a sense the fire idea came out of that to the point that fire and God may be metaphors as fire is a source of light and warmth and power and so to God to some degree, it was thus this connection to fire or God that causes the separation of sorts, fire in the sky, the sun, the heavens and the animals and nature in the cold dark earth and water below, I saw then the challenge was for humans to guide the evolution but not swing to far to the fire or God and to far away from the nature and the in the middle was the earth which is where these other two points have to find balance and harmony. So if you focus on nature than you are going back in time and if you focus on God or Fire it is on the future but if you focus on where they meet and merge ie Earth you have the global community or what I called the "life balance" or "biobalance" and it is a harmony or balance thus between the three and not mere two. Determined somewhat to a fixed population of 7 Billion humans We are all connected, as below so above, as above so below. It is the burden thus of being human to some degree to be the caregiver or steward that maintains the evolving balance meeting in the middle the EARTH. not sure about this but have a look Dolphin Ipad = http://www.digitaljournal.com/article/292981 is this good or is it bad are we corrupting them or will they corrupt us? Many romanticize nature but it is a brutal law of the jungle, if you think human laws are tough nature can at time seem to have little mercy.
