Hmm as i recall Jesus said "turn the other cheek"... source BIBLE 1611 AD/CE.

It isn't that guns kill people or that people kill people but that bullets kill people so maybe the compromise needed in the gun control issue is to shift the premise of guns from them wrongly being lethal weapons of death to weapons or defenses of disabling and stunning, ie rubber bullets, tasers, tranquillizers, blanks etc. and then have an amnesty where people can turn their lethal weapons and ammo in for stun weapons or ammo.

If implemented by law and force would probably reduce the number of deaths by guns by 50% or more

Hunters during hunting season would be exempt but need special permits for live ammo....

if you're really good after all... you don't need or want a gun.....as truth is the absolute defense.
