Perhaps

Perhaps there are no words
No feelings sublime enough


That can describe
The time
The circumstance
That elusive moment
Where your heart
Becomes part of mine

A circular pause in breath
Rhythm slows in sync
Together, one, faster
Rising to meet
In time
Beyond space
Where our inner fires
Become one flame
