Let There Be
we are close, you and I
but , lest we lose that which we love
let there be moments of missing you
where I yearn for your nearness
and I am denied and taught a lesson
let there be moments of silence
where I wonder what you are thinking
and perhaps, will never know
let there be moments of wonder
where I am amazed at something new
I never saw in you before
let there be moments of sorrow
where I can see the depth of you
and love you even more
we are close, you and I
whether we win or lose at love
may we always live the moment
