I will be grateful...

After I cleared off the kitchen table (it had gotten a bit messy with my lack of attention the last week)

I had my daughter's lucky bamboo flanked by my two simple brass angels. I had also my pink quartz votive candle holder in front of them. I got my incense out also.

I sat down...and carefully, thoughtfully listed many things I was grateful for. The first things I put down was my thanks for having a strong body. The illness I was experiencing could have gone much worse and I have been blessed and healed.

I had at least 50 things written down. I lit the candle, saying a prayer for all my friends and loved ones.. and one for the earth as well. I lit the incense as a blessing to my home, to fill it with peace and love.

I try to start each day in this manner. A moment of peace and reflection to put things into perspective.

I'm so very glad you're on the road to recovery.

I've often felt the same way, thank goodness I have a ever-ready bunny inside, lol! It's gotten me thru some rough stuff. ;)
