Four / Stability

The most stable of all forms is the cube. Four is the establishment of volume by definition. The four directions give orientation to any form as the height, length, depth and breadth give shape to any form. The energy of Four, sets the parameters which establish the freedoms and barriers needed to create a game, a work or relationship.

Opec would invite producers from outside the cartel to talks next month on {link:www.busrep.co.za/index.php?fSectionId=&fArticleId=2181001|how to stabilise sky-rocketing oil prices}, the organisation's president, Purnomo Yusgiantoro, said yesterday. The unusual move to throw open the September 14 meeting in Vienna to non-members comes just days after crude prices hit record highs, reaching $44.77 a barrel in New York on Friday. "Opec will discuss steps to stabilise world oil prices with non-Opec countries and large oil producers, among them Russia and Angola," Purnomo said. "We will discuss world oil price conditions."

Well that's a new one, could it just be the talk of snake oil salesmen, or have they been backed into a corner by the rebels that have effectively shut down all oil production in Iraq. I wonder how much it costs to fill up a hummer these days. Remember three years back right after the 911 when everybody was offered an interest free loan to buy a gas guzzling SUV just to show the terrorists that they hadn't been beaten.
