There are Angels, spiritual guides / teachers, fairies, gnomes, many kinds of nature spirits... and the list goes on and on. Here in this physical dimension it is easy to think of spirits as being separate from us... not having a physical body they are not seen very often. Actually spirits are everywhere as we live in a sea of living consciousness... an unseen spirit world all around us. Many of us believe there are spirits, without ever seeing one, from teachings we have read or from a story of an encounter. For me it has been a blessing of many kinds of encounters since early childhood.

I look at all life as being one big family. When I think of what a spirit is I see everything as having a spirit and some as having a physical body as well. For example - each of us has a physical body but in reality we are a spirit with a physical body which is like a space suit designed to help us function in this physical world. Hmm, I guess that means God was the first inventor of the space suit. Well it's like they say... there is nothing new under the sun.



. So for those of you who have a desire to understand a little more about the unseen spirit I share with you here some of my personal experiences from journals that I have kept over the years. I make no claim to be an expert in these matters but do claim to be a spirit with a physical body that is no greater or lesser than another. We are all spirits here of equal origin.
I will be adding more encounters as time permits and they are not in any specific order.


First Encounter

This was one of my first encounters which had taken place when I was around the age of six.

I had just gotten to bed one night but could not fall off to sleep. I was having this numb-like feeling at the area between my eyes and nose, kind of like someone had bumped me there, it didn't hurt but was very uncomfortable. Then with eyes closed I saw the shapes of three persons appear standing closely together. I sensed they knew me very well and came from the heavens. I could not see what they looked like but by their voices and the loving feelings they gave I knew one was a male and the other two were females. They began talking to me and informed me of something that would come about later in my life.

I was so excited by the experience and what they had said to me that I wanted to jump up out of bed and tell my brothers but stopped when I realized they would probably not understand and just laugh. So it wasn't till about twenty years later that I actually shared the experience with anyone.

* The numb-like feeling between my eyes was caused by what is known as the third eye being opened. The spiritual beings that had visited me opened my third eye that I may see them and receive the information they imparted. I say spiritual beings because they were very loving in the divine sense.
