Most people love by showing their concern for their loved ones.

You don't see or hear from someone for ages and you phone to find out how they are because you are worried about them. I know people mean well by showing concern but...

What if you're sensitive and picking up on your loved one's way of loving you by showing concern? You're bound to be running scared. I wonder if there is so much fear because of the way people are loving one another?

What if we loved one another by trusting in the Infinite Intelligence whose intention for all is very good. Some people call this Intelligence Love. What if we stopped worrying and knew that no matter where your loved one is, he or she is always being cared for by Love?

What if by trying to change the world, we trust that Love is working perfectly in HER own way?

As the bus I was in was approaching the last stop, I saw my next bus was just leaving. Damn, I wish I could have caught that bus. Now I'm going to have to wait for another one. Oh well. When I arrived at the bus station I noticed the bus I wanted had stopped and the bus driver was fiddling at the back of the bus, which gave me time to get on. The driver got on board and tried the ignition, but the engine was dead. I thought to myself: "The Power that gives rise to the planets, the stars, the sun, the galaxies, and all forms is the same Power moving this bus."

The driver got out and fiddled at the back of the bus. He tried the ignition and the bus came to life. For the rest of the 40 minutes or so journey home, the engine was purring like a contented cat.

I am reminded of a passage in the Scriptures:

[["Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." (Proverbs 3: 5-6)]]

When I arrived home my mother wasn't at home. She never said she was going out and it's getting late. I wonder where she is? Oh well, she's perfectly fine because Love is all there is.

Why fret when you can trust in Love?

....in your life, EJ, when you didn't trust(-and rightfully so, ) Life(/coz, something had broken your Trust)? What did it -in thast case for you to start (consciously) to re-member(/re-gain) that ("lost" ) Trust?

just a overload of buzz up chemicals in the brain. When there gone, your left with a horrible down. You crave for the high again, but your mind is unconsciously aware of that down that could happen. This brings arrise to apprehention of love.

That proverb scripture is like a police statement telling us to obey the authoritys. Any time you see the word LORD in capitals it means that the name of another god has been replaced. This was because the churches only wanted people to worship one god, when in actual fact the bible originaly refers to many gods.

viewpoints, Steve! "....just an overload of buzz chemicals"..... I bet trusting in Thyself ALSO is a chemical "Combo" of some sort....since ALL is Chemistry.... just as ALL is Electricity. Just as ALL is Magnetics, Resonance, Refraction (of Light-waves; Colour [-wavelenghts, that emanates those Sounds/resonance.... ]) ^!^... etc etc. Metaphysics: BEYOND & ABOVE ( Newtonian/Cartesian ) AND "Quantum" Physics.
Love is to give someone/thing SPACE; the Space it needs to thrive and be Itself.
Love is to accept ALL Not-Man-Made AS DIVINE ; created by the ONLY ONE who can create above and beyond "Man-made" = LIFE Itself!
Love is to accept someone -not for "born-In/to The Right Family" (plus the rest of all those idiotic justifications used by the Idiots for some few thousand years already), but because It was born/MADE BY LIFE!!! PERIOD!Nobody/Nothing is more -or less than 100& Divine; Accepted by Life Itself, when born... ( but forced to "lose" its connection/and the remembering and the use of its own Divinty, by some screwballs, who themselves had forgotten!!!) . And that is how we, humans need to start seeing it all again! YOu won't do that untill/ once you trust (yourself again) ! "AGAIN" implies that there indeed is some WORK to be done, before we are back in that trusting state of being, isn't that so, EJ. ; ).... oooh, I forgot to tell you,EJ, that many of your (Positive) "What if"-suggestions/statements are really good and I know they work wonders for eveyone who chooses to use them in their daily life! : )

Blimey! There always is. There are many moments when I "forget" but the next moment I remember. That's the wonderful thing about the Now, you always get a second chance every moment. I believe it's important to cultivate a habit of trust. I find "praying without ceasing" one way, being in silence is another.

Who is the self that you're trusting in? As I see it, there is no other self but you, me, Astrid, the all of us. We are God. So it is that God that I trust in. It is that God I think of when I see the word "Lord."

That dirty word, WORK. It's like the other one EARN. You want to be the Divine Being that you are, you need to work for it, earn it. Sod that! I am Divine. I simply need to keep remembering who I am and let the Divine express as me.

We are god! Too many people are looking for something beyond themself to look to as god. If the world was to embrace god as one and all life, the word love would have true meaning to the world.

The truth is: without Acceptance (of all being Made DIvine) there is no chance to trust!...and how can one trust without accepting Something?.... None of us can!
And we all were ripped off our Natural / Inherent / Born-With trust ( among all the rest of our Divine Gifts, that were given to us -as our Birtday Gifts- by Life at Birth)
So...this is where the boring part comes in: first acknowldging that we indeed were made to God's Image and Likeness.Secondly; we have to start -consciously- to "work" on re-gaining/-opening up to- them again ---even if "all" we (need to)
do is RE-member. For some of us it all might come back that easy.... For most of us the whole process is much more ardurous and not all that easy to follow through. Then again: to Work with Something we Love, "money" =REWARD WILL FOLLOW
which we also know -from experience! (and the more we practice this, the easier we start gettin into the Groove, so to speak!
Deserve and Earn should never be taken as synonymes, coz they're NOT!!! We ALL DESERVE our Divinity, simply because it is how Universe IS!!! But we have to earn (back) what we "Sold out on" = do the re-membering (of the Forgotten ( =let go of-)skills/ gifts)
This process/"work" will do for us what in (Today's "jargong" is called Ascension (-work) not least because it each 'improvement'/new re-membrance makes our vibrastions to ascend a little to a little higher stage -or "higher (musical /Note /(musical)pitch -if you were to hear the vibes -or colour -if you were to see the colour vibes!
But none of these wonderful things will happen to us just by using more Jargong and say: we already are God/Nothing more to do than chow down our candy while watching our Favorite Show on the Tube!... ;)... an' this is just "how it all is today! : ) Remember: we are all in the same two boats!Some choose to remain in the boat heade for destruction, some in the boat , headed for a New BETTER world for ALL!

There is a danger of "We are God" becoming another platitude. As you know I believe in testing everything, being practical. So "to love is to trust" is to trust in the Us, that is God, and see this at work in all aspects of life.
