Enocia Joseph: Perceptions

A truck pulled up beside the bus I was on. I noticed a bicycle at the back of it. A woman behind me said she loved the colour of the bicycle.

"I love green," she said.
"It looks yellow to me," her daughter said.

I loved the fact that the little girl did not make her mother wrong, she simply stated how she saw things. Obviously, her mother thought she was seeing a green bicycle while she thought she was seeing a yellow one. To me, the bicycle looked lemon, but then again that was my perception.

I dream of a world where we express how we see things without making one another wrong for not seeing things our way.

Love to all.
