Exclude women and you exclude the majority of the population in the world. That's the perfect example of old civ thinking - that only men count. Yes, I know many men would like it that way, but they'd be nowhere without women...not even alive without women. You had three women in your group room, in the beginning myself included. I left because of the focus on mind, not heart, not a balance of the two. Whenever you use the word "mind" it's in caps. I don't see how this charter is radically different from what the U.N.'s own purpose is supposed to be, except the U.N. is largely corrupted. Even though you talk about nature and oneness and freedom, I feel the wording of your document presents some problems. You did your work for this charter and it's clear you gave it a lot of thought and wrote from what you know and feel. I commend you for putting it together. Isn't it interesting that of the many thousands of NCN members, only about five or six were interested in joining this project? In my defence I can only say, habits die hard. To err is human, as it is said. But, please go behind and judge the intention involved. I would request you, in suppoer of my innocent intention, to refer to my response to a comment made by someone on these pages (it is available in comment pages)where I said women are better than men in many important respects. There I closed the 'man versus woman' debate, on my part. Now perhaps the time has come for me to state my position on the subject and reasons for the same. But before that, let me first quickly state that I agree with you that without women men would be nowhere; they (that is, men)owe their origin to women, as their mothers; they owe their happiness, in one very important respect, to women, as their wives; they owe their balanced personality to women, who are their hetrosexual smoothers, emotional safety valves. Women, and nobody else - except in the cases of artificially and in a self-induced manner reorientation of their total personality - are their natural partners and friends. At least with today's technology, the perpetuation of hetrosexual members of mankind is not possible without 'x and y' both chromosomes and there women equally contributre to the evolutionary process going on in nature. You say I use capital M in the word mind in my articles and that shows my prejudice against heart and in favor of mind. Here I will defend myself. It is a slander against me. Please refer to my articles and you would find there that I use capital H in the word heart. My position regarding Mind and Heart is clearly discernible in all my articles: I hold that Mind, Desires and Sensual feelings of physical body of human beings are 'intruments' of the Light of Heart; that these instruments are illumined and living only because this Light of Heart percolates down into them. But please remember that that this Heart is not the biological organ that is located in body and is known as heart by people. The Heart that I am talking of is a dimension of Consciousness. The last word here also uses capital C and it is not indicative of any superiority or otherwise. It simply indicates that Consciousness has an independent existence, is a 'thing'. In 'woman versus man' or 'man versus woman' - which is the same thing except for those who are too egoistic in both camps - debate my position is this: Woman and man are different in many respects. I am not talking of sexual aspect at all; that is there. There are forces operating in universe and woman and man both have been evolved by these forces in evolutionary process, millions of years reckoned from Earth reference and billions of years from Cosmic reference. Both of the two of the human species, like every thing else in universe, are not only the outcome of these forces but also the intruments of their manifestatiion. Woman loves offspring more than man. And, it is not alone in human beings. Most of animals do the same. If any body has a doubt, let her or him (how sickening is the debate) make an experiment for her or him. It is not without reason; it can't be without reason. There is nothing that is there in nature without reason. The Light of Heart of which I have been constantly refering to in my articles, equally percolates down to the three instruments - that is, Mind, Desires and Senses - in both woman and man. In man Mind is more dominant and it distorts this descending Light in greater measure than in woman. In woman this distortion is less than man. It is not that women are less brainy than men; simply, women overrule the objections of reason to the descending thing. It is called the dominance of Heart over Mind. It has nothing to do with superiority or inferiority of either sex. Woman and man are the two contradictions of dialectics of life (speaking of human beings); whole nature is full of two rival and contradictory elements that make it (nature) complete one. You find it atoms; you find it in mirror-images of elementary (!) particles; you find it balancing planets around Sun; you find it balancing galaxies around Black Hole; what is the suprise if you find it working between woman and man so that life may perpetuate itself in this dialectical process. And, vibrani, where is the scope of saying that I consider man and Mind superior to woman and Heart? My all articles are full of praise of Heart! Let me know your further grievance. You say, there is not response from men to my articles; it is mostly from women; you are right. New Civilization belongs to Heart and not Mind. Mind is reigning now. Our present civilization belongs to Mind. But it is Mind alone that would expose its own limits. Not only science (that is, reason and Mind) would propel human beings to think beyond reason, its (science's) products - atom bombs and the like - would also make human beings to learn to place better checks on them than Mind yoked to the service of egoistic Desires. 26 Jan 2006 @ 18:32 by rayon : Mind/ Heart My Voice is without gender - I prefer to reserve those references to aspects of Nature and rational orderings perceived in any discussion. My subjectiveness is given automatic expression through the "natural" elements in a text, retaining for myself the objectiveness which can be most useful in advancing complex conversations (see my poetry). Intelligent people who know me (as a woman) will automatically accommodate this within their understanding of any words (and vice versa); this all creates added colouration to any words of the moment, an intrinsic important difference to all other mentions of those same words, and which in Western language is known as Art. Because it is only percieved/and exists by its very differencies. This is what the Mind remembers, the differencies, the nuances within a greater Whole. This in the West comes from the Classical languages and literature of Greek and others. The differencies built up into music notes and tunes, and symphonies, known now to be the stuff of memory. To bring in accusations of gender differences at such a low level is to miss an extremely, the most beautiful point in Western Classical Literature. It is by being aware of this that an appreciation of other cultures' equally magnificiently musical expressions can be gained. The words mean more than just themselves, and each persons minute colouration of experience of those words, is not a hinderance but a joy. I say all this in the hugest support of Shreepal's referencing and obviously I can speak only in my main philosophical background in order to be of some use. Shreepal it is wonderful all that you do, and I hope my support has been included on your "list". My Studying of the Vedanta and Indian writings increased my knowledge of all other beliefs threehundredfold as it slotted into many aspects of fundamental western teachings. The Victorains for better of for worse decided that Europeans evolved from Egypt, even saying that they were White. This is still entrenched deeply in many ideas for I have discovered many many instances of idea filtration from the India subcontinent. My Masters say that each group has things to learn from the other, and I hope I have been putting my mind to those very troublesome areas that appeared to me, and which cannot even be discussed for being so troublesome to society. So I read and read, and think to find each tiny link from one problem to another in hope of resolution to find a way to live together in a New Civilisation. Many modern systems of referencing are inadequate because they ignore all the multidimensional classic thought processes and understanding, and I believe this is stalling the advance of cohesiveness in discussion, and going backwards, to very very great cost to the Ice Caps and the Earth. We know that Governments controll information and education to keep the wheels of industry turning, and now this is burning up the planet. Thanks for your comments that put the seemingly two differing viewpoints on 'woman versus man' issue in right prespective. Surely, I take for granted that you stand for 'Charter of New Civilization'and I count on your support for the same. I mean, are we saying since we cant beat them, we will join in to the globalist agenda, with our own agenda? Personaly I do think, that if we are to ever get a charter and then somehow attach it to the UN, we have to first be recognized as a nation, if we really want to be taken seriously. Do we have any idea how many individuals have sent letters to the UN or our leaders, saying exacly what we are saying? Anyway Im all for it, I wouldnt mind being part of the UN as long as we don't end up being nothing more than a mouth piece for the globalist movment. Not that globalisim is a bad thing, nor is having a world government that is standardized in every UN chartered nation. But then, what may happen is those that don't agree with it, become inturned as indigents in government run work camps, I mean with out cash, or the RFID chip, we will have to pay somehow to live. If the globalists decide people with out the cash or chip are useless eatters, there will be no quams about locking them up someplace, you know out of sight , out of mind. And what about the world court(the hauge)? What happens to free will? It will be hard not to fall into the same situations we see now, where a person isnt PC and dosnt follow the party line, they get booted or have to resign from thier post, people getting fined for the crime you seem to have commited above, I think theres a real posability of this becoming an extention to the already placed laws, where the punishment does not fit the crime. Thats a serious problem right now. I also think, eventualy, all this stuff will do is serve to devide us more, and creat factions/groups that will have nothing left to live for. In that aspect, I wouldn't want to be the progenator. But again, I have nothing to lose personaly by being part of the UN. New Civilization is the collective effort of mankind. In collaborative work none is excluded. UN is also serving a cause. Nothing is perfect in nature but the things are moving towards perfection. Evolutionary process follows a zig zag pattern, going forward, backward and forward again but as a whole going forward. There are weaknesses of UN but it is striving to become a collective voice of our race; though it has not become so still. To get affiliated with or to get sponsership from UN an initiative of a group of people need not be a nation.
