Twice I glanced over my shoulder to see if it was following me, but I didn’t stop running until I got back into town.” from http://fatemag.com/issues/2000s/2006-05article1f.html Quite interesting! Thanks, Marissa! I love the forest - by day and by night it comforts me, have hugged many a tree that hugged me back. I pledged myself to that forest after moving to Oregon in 1976 and though I've had to move from that original forest, it's collective consciousness has always made a new 'space' for me in another forested area. I feel so blessed with it's ever comforting presence. Hmm, maybe time to take a picture of the 'enchanted woods'. ;) Thanks, Marissa, for a lovely poem. 11 May 2006 @ 02:04 by skookum : the power places are here for us to love and enjoy I agree.. forests.. trees.. wonderful teachers and they bring such peace thanks heidi, marissa
