An essential part of an activity such as NCN is probably to get to know
each other. We can better work together, communicate together, or dream
together if we know who we are.
And, honestly, we can probably do better at that. There are some things in
place that are helpful, such as the member directory, and those of you who
participate in some of the mailing lists, or in the occasional chat
sessions, get to know each other better too. More reporting on the
activities of different members should be coming up soon also. But, if any
of you have suggestions for what else we can do to increase the quality of
how we relate to each other, please don't hesitate to put them forth.
One thing that might be useful is to post more bios of members. It might be
too much traffic for some people's taste to put them here on the main list.
However, I suggest that we put them on the ncndiscuss-l list for now.
Some of you send in comprehensive bios when you join and, when you give
your permisison, we will now post those on the discussion list.
And any of you who would like to present yourself, your activities, or your
experiences more fully are very welcome to do that in the same place.
We could make a special mailing list just for bios, if that seems to be
what is needed or wanted. However, I think we already have confusingly many
mailing lists, so I'd prefer not to add another one at this point. But, let
me know what you think.
