Dear NCN Colleagues:

I am very interested in the Peace Movement, and would like to know which of
you NCN members would like to participate in some way in the various Peace
programs offered.

The one that interests me most is the One Day of Peace Project presented by
World Peace 2000 and its founder, Bob Silverstein, which calls for a World
Wide Moratorium on Violence for at least ONE day, Jan. 1, 2000.
The moratorium would extend not only to acts of physical and emotional
violence in "reality" but also to any portrayal of such acts in ANY of the
media!

Now that is an incredible challenge and one that will take much thought and
perseverence. I am hosting a task-force in Los Angeles to that end, and
invite any of you to do the same in your localities as well as offering
suggestions and cooperation to a national and worldwide organization.

Your feed back is welcomed.

The specific website for World Peace 2000 is the first in the following list
of Peace Related Websites.
