One Cloud belt of vegetation caresses the Desert
circling the globe around the latitudes of Equator.
Another cloud belt of vegetation caresses the Desert
around the temperate latitudes of the North.
That is all there is: two circ-lets of Life
on the Continental Desert of the watery planet.

There are two petals of thought on our planet:
One the Desert, the other Water.
The only two places in the Desert
where the flower grows
is within these two Ankh-lets.

The Defoilation of the two Ankh-lets
begins with Fire-in-the-Rain.
*
From Light of Dawn at Even-time,
Listen and Speak through
the Time of the River of Night
to the Time of Dawn returns
to bring a New Day.

Every once in a while, little breaks in our patterns of activity
can provide a helpful readjustment, like that tuneup we need to give our cars every once in a while. Good ties, like old friends, never disappear.
