an island in the Baltic sea between Sweden and Finland.
The design is inscribed in stone.
At the center is a circular design from the Aztec claendar.
Looks like a half opened eye,
the pupil and iris below the half raised eyelid.
The circular Scandinavian design
connotates movement.

About 9 months ago I was doing research about art and music and was drawn to the Baltic Sea area because of a Lithuanian painter, Mikalojus Ciurlionis, whose work I love. That is when I discovered Gotland. A beautiful ancient island covered with churches. There are 92 Medieval churches on the island. Since discovering Gotland I have dreamed of going there to visit. I was thinking about it yesterday and today I find this in your news log, I love synchronicity.

The colours and the energy of the pattern is really wonderful. I'm not wild about the "eye", but that's just because I have an allergy to the "All-seeing-eye" Illuminati symbol.
